- Well, I have to agree with adrac. Not many people who loose their jobs have an RV and truck to fall back on, or the money to finance gasoline, insurance, and campsite fees. It really isn't that realistic, but B.P. described it much more realistically

- Seriously, all jokes and jabs aside. My consumer confidence is non-existent. I work in bankruptcy and let me tell you, it isn't getting better. Seeing the amount of individuals and businesses going belly up scares the sam heck outta me.

- I don't know what happened to the home of the "brave" and the land of the "free". We are living in fear and being fed everyday by the media that someone is going to kidnap and rape our children. The middle east has weapons to take us all down.

- I live in a suburb of Detroit (you can't live in Detroit unless you are homeless or a drug dealer, besides there aren't many standing homes left). It is a crying shame what has happened to our manufacturing jobs. Don't blame the unions either.

- Boo Hoo. No pity here. Deregulation allowed the criminals a vast playing field. How many foreign cars and imported clothes did these "prosperous" people purchase? United we stand or divided we fall.

- I was always taught never to buy a house with anything less than 20% down and more if you can. Fortunately, I was able to buy my first house in 1977 by assuming an FHA mortgage and at that time there were no qualification requirements. I purchased my present home in 1991 with 50% down.
